Miami Dolphins $180 million wide receiver, Tyreek Hill, 30,was detained by police outside the Miami Dolphins Stadium, on allegations of speeding. Hill was pulled over behind the wheel of a McLaren sports car. When asked to exit the vehicle, Hill, who was in disbelief, began asking what he had done wrong, as his car was surrounded by several officers. The police knew exactly who he is, based on what they stated to him during the arrest.

Two of the officers, one in particular, was belligerent and aggressive from the start. He violently yanked Hill out of the vehicle by his head and threw him to the ground on the hot cement road. Hill's face was against the ground in blazing, ninety degree heat. One of the officers twisted Hill's arms behind his back in a painful manner and handcuffed him. At one point an officer had his knee on Hill's spine, which could have caused injury.

Then the cops picked Hill up off the ground and took him over to the side walk. Hill was ordered to sit on the side walk. Hill began slowly complying, stating he just had knee surgery, asking for patience as he tried to sit while handcuffed with his arms behind his back. The belligerent cop didn't care and without warning hit Hill in the back and pushed him to the ground in a very rough manner.

Another Miami Dolphins football player, Calais Campbell, approached the scene but maintained a good distance, while asking what was happening. The officer began yelling at him, then detained him as well, which is outrageous. Eventually both men were released at the scene.

The whole incident was so unnecessary and an abuse of their authority as police. They took it too far. All they had to do was ticket Hill for speeding. To take things to the level they did was excessive force and looked very personal. One of the officers has been assigned to office duties pending an investigation. He needs to be fired for embarrassing the police to the world. Thankfully a fan in traffic filmed the incident on his mobile phone's camera and released it to social networking.
