New York Post: Is Anna Wintour Out At Vogue April 3. 2018
Anna Wintour The New York Post is reporting that British fashion legend, Anna Wintour, 68, is out as editor and artistic director of Vogue magazine. However, Conde Nast, the owner of Vogue magazine, is denying the New York Post's claim. Recently, Conde Naste issued a statement on the matter, "We emphatically deny these rumors." Conde Nast has been losing $100,000,000 per year. The company has closed Teen Vogue, Details and Self magazines. The fashion industry has taken a financial hit due to the internet. Many people are turning to fashion sites and blogs, which has eaten into newspaper and magazine sales. Newspapers and magazines have tried to adopt to the new model but need to do more in gaining advertising sales to preserve jobs. Some sites have tried to put content behind a paywall, but many people have not opted to pay for subscriptions. Once again, building up online advertising is key to saving these companies.
