Joran Van Der Sloot, the man accused of murdering, Natalee Hollaway, the teen that disappeared under strange circumstances, while on vacation, has confessed to killing a young woman in Peru.

Police report Van Der Sloot confessed to killing 21-year-old Stephany Flores, after taking her to a hotel room. He is expected to detail his crimes today, during a visit to the crime scene.

Van Der Sloot's dad, who was a prominent judge, kept getting him out of trouble and it spoiled him, leading him to believe he could rest on his father's laurels and name, rather than making something of his life.

It is difficult for a parent to let a child face the consequences of their actions, but it is the appropriate thing to do. Had Van Der Sloot been convicted previously, with sound testimony from those in the know, who remained silent, Stephany Flores, would be alive today.
