A reporter was angry with U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, at the Obama Administration's first state dinner this week, held in honor of India's Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh. The reporter politely asked Pelosi if she was wearing an Armani gown, to which the House Speaker rolled her eyes and gave her a disdainful look.

The reporter then snapped, "What was that look." I guess Pelosi didn't want to appear superficial as a politician, in caring about things such as fashion labels, which she clearly does or she wouldn't get dressed up in glamorous clothing.

...At Tuesday's state dinner, Washington Post's Robin Givhan approached the House speaker and, according to a pool report, asked, "Is your gown Armani?"

"Pelosi shot her a disapproving stare and rolled her eyes a bit," says the pool report. She also refused to answer Givhan's follow-up question, "What was that look?!"
