Naked Photos Surface From Italian PM's Mansion June 5. 2009
The past few weeks have spawned crisis after crisis for Italy's Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi, 72. He is facing the demise of his marriage, due to articles splashing his alleged affair with a 17-year-old girl, all over the front pages.
The story grew more scandalous when it was revealed he bought the teenaged underwear model a diamond necklace for her birthday.
This week Spanish newspaper El Pais published photos of topless women and a naked man at Prime Minister Berlusconi's mansion in Sardinia. Today the Italian Prime Minister slammed the photographs as an invasion of privacy and insisted they were innocent. He threatened to sue Spanish newspaper El Pais, which published the images. Berlusconi had successfully applied to have 700 pictures taken by photographer Antonello Zappadu seized by the Italy´s privacy commission.
