Meghan Markle's Dad Thomas Markle Has Been Left Out Of Proceedings Regarding His Grandson Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor

It's no secret that Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has fallen out with her dad, Thomas Markle, as well as half siblings, Samantha Grant and Thomas Markle Jr. Meghan's dad was paid for paparazzi photos of himself, which morphed into unwanted publicity before her May 2018 wedding to Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex. I think some in the press made too much out of that incident. I didn't think the photos were a big deal. Thomas decided not to go to Meghan's wedding as a result of the press stories surrounding the staged paparazzi photos.

Meghan's sister Samantha is another story. She has so exploited Meghan and Harry that it is unethical at this point. Samantha has done terrible tell-all interviews, for which she was paid, repeatedly slamming Meghan and Harry in vicious ways, even during the Duchess' pregnancy. Meghan gave birth to son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor this week.

Samantha's conduct was unwarranted and out of line. She really let her sister down. She showed no discretion whatsoever. Meghan's brother Thomas Jr also publicly insulted her, stating she has "forgotten her roots" since dating Prince Harry. The public did not need to hear all of that from either sibling.

This week the press noted that Meghan's dad has been left out of the proceedings surrounding the birth of her child. Meghan's mother Doria Ragland is mentioned, but not Thomas. It is sad that this has occurred. He really should have been at her wedding as well. She is his daughter and he belongs in her life.

Last Updated Monday, May 6, 2019 11:40AM EDT - Royal baby watchers were quick to notice one significant name missing from the official Buckingham Palace statement announcing the birth of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first child: Thomas Markle, her estranged father.

“The Duchess of Sussex has been delivered of a son,” the Palace statement says. After giving particulars about the birth, sex, weight and delivery of the child, the statement continues; “The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news.”

“The Duchess’s mother, Doria Ragland, who is overjoyed by the arrival of her first grandchild, is with Their Royal Highnesses at Frogmore Cottage.” Thomas Markle has been estranged from Meghan following a series of very public blunders involving both the American and British press – culminating in his absence at Meghan and Harry’s wedding and several unsanctioned interviews...
