Female rapper Megan the Stallion was shot in a vehicle this past Sunday in Los Angeles. Megan was an occupant in the car driven by fellow rapper and boyfriend, Tory Lanez, who opened fire. Megan was shot multiple times and rushed to the hospital by police officers. She underwent surgery and is expected to make a full recovery. Lanez has been arrested on felony gun charges.

Megan took to the social networking website Instagram to speak out about the incident, as there was misinformation online indicating she was arrested. However, Megan stated she was a victim of crime where she was intentionally shot. Megan's producer, Lil Ju posted an item to social networking directed at Tory Lanez, which urged that he, "Count his days." Lil Ju also stated, "I hope y'all don't believe he was defending her! This is a bulls**t story."

Lil Ju Made The Beat Denies Claims That Tory Lanez ‘Defended’ Megan Thee Stallion

July 16, 2020 - Once Megan Thee Stallion revealed she was shot, she had fans READY to find out by who! Earlier this week, a night of fun turned into a traumatic event after Tory Lanez, Megan Thee Stallion, and some friends were involved in some sort of incident that ended with shots being fired and Megan suffering from a gunshot wound. Tory Lanez was arrested and hit with felony charges for carrying a concealed weapon, but it’s not clear if Tory fired the shots.
