Man Stabs His Wife 46 Times When She Finds Out He Cheated On Her And Was Accused Of Rape

25-year-old Michael Barnard stabbed his wife, Shannon, 46 times 2-weeks after she discovered he had cheated on her in an alcohol and drug fuelled state. The woman in question that he cheated with stated it was rape. However, he was cleared of rape, but tried on attempted murder regarding his wife.

The incident occurred in Hextavle, England, which is an area of Kent. 21-year-old Shannon Barnard sustained massive injuries in the angry attack. The London Mirror stated she, “suffered multiple wounds to her limbs and body, including her lungs, liver and bowels, as Michael Barnard repeatedly knifed her, telling her she 'had to die.'"

The newspaper further stated, “Fourteen injuries were to her chest and breasts alone, with four penetrating her internal organs, and 10 to her abdomen. Both her lungs collapsed and she has also been left with substantial and numerous scars which may require skin grafts.” Shannon was in agony and stated to police that she “felt every blow” as her enraged husband kept stabbing her. She was hospitalized for 2-weeks. Michael was arrested, prosecuted and sentenced to 20-years in jail.

Astonishingly, Shannon stated she will wait for him and plans to start a family with her husband. Sentencing guidelines in Britain usually result in parole after half the term is served with good behavior. I wish her well with that, because if he is not truly recovered her life could be in danger. He may resent her for having sent him to prison to pay his debt to society for the crimes he committed against her. Be careful my dear.

A young woman whose cheating husband has been jailed for 20 years for attempted murder after he ferociously stabbed her at least 46 times has vowed to stand by him, a court heard.
