There exists a mainstream political bias in the press, which favors positive coverage of the Democrats in America, as oppose to the rival Republican party, who are more conservative in their leanings. This leads to uneven and biased coverage that does not present both sides of the issues. The one conservative major network in America, Fox News, isn't much better at being unbiased, as they lean all the way to the right.

However, the liberal mainstream media, is far more guilty in this regard, as it involves hundreds of newspapers and television outlets, colluding to present the picture they want. I ask, what's so difficult about presenting both sides of the story. At the end of the day, the American people will get their news online from sources they prefer and judge the government based on the economic and social issues present in their lives. Therefore, giving the mainstream news the slant you desire is not having the effect you think.
