23-year-old Lori Harvey, the stepdaughter of entertainment mogul, Steve Harvey, was carjacked in Atlanta this past weekend. The Harveys split their time between homes in Los Angeles and Atlanta. Lori was driving a new $325,000 Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV. The luxury vehicle caught the eye of criminals.

Lori was targeted by two men in a parking garage on Peachtree Road in Atlanta, who were following her around and waiting for the opportunity to pounce. When Lori went into the truck of the vehicle to retrieve her clothing that was in bags, a man quickly jumped into the driver's seat of her vehicle with the intent of driving off.

 

A startled Lori attempted to remove the thief from her vehicle, but he pushed her back. Lori then remembered she had the car key (fob) and quickly walked away from the carjacker, who was still attempting to start the vehicle in an effort to steal the SUV.

Then, another vehicle drove up to assist the car thief. A man exited the second vehicle and switched places with the man illegally in the driver's seat of Lori's SUV. When they realized they could not start the car, they went into the truck and stole Lori's clothing, then fled in their car. Police are investigating the case.

Lori has not been having a good few months with vehicles. In October of last year, Lori's was in an accident where her Mercedes SUV collided with another vehicle and flipped over in Beverly Hills. The accident occurred due to texting and driving. She was charged with hit and run and is scheduled to appear in court shortly for the case.
