In 2003, actress Lisa Raye McCoy, 53, and actor Duane Martin, 54, starred on the television show "All Of Us" which ran for 4 seasons and spawned 88 episodes. Lisa became very good friends with Duane, who is the husband of "Martin" actress Tisha Campbell (they divorced in 2018, after 22-years of marriage).

Previously, Lisa Raye was married to Miami Dolphins football player, Tony Martin, from 1992 to 1994. In 2006, McCoy married Turks and Caicos premier, Michael Misick. The two began wildly spending taxpayer money in the millions. They went on lavish shopping trips, via private jet, costing the Turks and Caicos taxpayers $100,000 per jaunt.

During this time of spending and partying, Lisa introduced Duane to Michael. She invited Duane on shopping trips and expensive parties held in Turks and Caicos on the taxpayer's money. This is where things began going wrong in her marriage and Lisa blames Duane for what ensued.

In a recent interview, Lisa stated Duane, whom she viewed as one of her best friends, became closer to Michael than her, and began finding and introducing him to women. Duane began introducing Michael to women she also knew, such as comedian/actor Eddie Murphy's ex-wife Nicole Murphy.

Lisa Raye stated Nicole had an affair with Michael, during her marriage to the politician. Nicole is also accused of having an affair with director, Antoine Fuqua, who is married to actress, Lela Rochon. Paparazzi caught the two kissing while on vacation and Lela was back in Los Angeles.

Lisa Raye stated, "As my reign, and being first lady, became busier and busier and I found my position. Then he was doing a lot more traveling by hisself, and I was staying home, speaking at a school, or having an engagement, or an appearance or something. Really, to be quite honest, then he became friends with Duane Martin, which used to be one of my friends on All Of Us, and when I introduced them, that was one of the worst things I ever did."

She also stated, "Somehow within that relationship, I lost my husband to Duane Martin, and they became better friends than what me and my husband did, and I couldn’t understand that for the love of G-d. He became disrespectful with introducing my husband to different women, and women that we actually knew as friends and associates.Yes. You know my dirt as my brother, as my friend, but you my friend, I introduced you to him. What are you doing? I'm still kinda confused about that one."

Lisa Raye blames Duane for destroying her marriage. She became angry at Michael for cheating with famous and non-famous women Duane procured. When she confronted Michael over their marital problems, he had security remove her from the national residence. In 2008, after 2-years of marriage, Michael separated from Lisa Raye, then filed for divorce.

In 2008, Michael was also placed under formal investigation by the British government, as Turks and Caicos is still under British rule, for misappropriating taxpayer funds and assets with Lisa Raye. In a report issued by the British government, "Misick is alleged to have built up a multi-million dollar fortune since he was elected in 2003 when he declared assets of only $50,000." Michael sold land in Turks and Caicos that belonged to the British crown, as the island is still a territory of Britain.

In 2009 his party demanded he resign and he complied, while denying all wrongdoing. The British government seized all his assets. In 2012 the British government arrested him as he flew into Brazil. He was detained at the Santos Dumont Airport in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2014, he was flown back to Turks and Caicos, where he was placed in prison for a week, while the indictment for bribery, money laundering and conspiracy was processed.

The trial was to commence in 2015, but was delayed. This past summer, Judge Paul Harrison of Turks and Caicos, ruled the case against Michael and three of his government officials can proceed (Floyd Hall, McAllister Hanchell and Jeffrey Hall).

Mentioned in the indictment as examples of financial corruption and theft of taxpayer money is the $110,000 Michael paid from government funds to charter a boat for Lisa Raye and nine of friends. He also paid her a large sum from taxpayer money to appear in a Turks and Caicos tourism commercial, which angered locals. The criminal trial continues...
