Liam Neeson
There's a phrase that goes, "Sharing is caring." However, actor
Liam Neeson is learning the hard way that is not always the
case. 30-years ago the actor made controversial comments during
an interview about wanting to "kill a black bastard" when he
found out one of his female friends was raped by a black man.
The interview was recently unearthed against his wishes.
Neeson stated he roamed the streets looking to pick a fight with
and kill a black man, out of revenge for his friend being raped.
After a week in that state of mind, Neeson went to see a priest
and confessed his sinful thoughts in this regard. Neeson
expressed the fact he was behaving in an inappropriate and
irrational manner.
This old interview has come back to haunt him, as people began
calling for a boycott of his film. As a result of the boycott,
Neeson's new film "Cold Pursuit" only made $10,000,000 for the
weekend, when it could have easily cleared $25,000,000 to
$30,000,000. Neeson's numbers are now low.
