Lawyer And Former Presidential
Candidate Michael Avenatti Sentenced To 14-Years In
Prison For Theft And Fraud
December 5. 2022
Michael Avenatti and client, Stormy Daniels, who
tried to ruin former President Donald Trump
Disbarred attorney and one time U.S. presidential
candidate, Michael Avenatti, has been sentenced to
14-years in prison for stealing millions of dollars
in his clients settlement money and financial
judgments that came from court verdicts. Avenatti
flaunted a lavish lifestyle on the internet, but it
was underwritten through outright fraud and criminal
theft of his clients' money.
The fraud grew so brazen Avenatti even bought
himself not one, but two private jets, using money
he stole from clients. Avenatti stole clients money,
didn't pay his taxes ($3,000,000), lied to Congress,
threatened people with violence, cheated on his
wife, and beat up his mistress. Avenatti was
behaving like he is in the mafia. Avenatti was
leading a very unethical lifestyle that came back to
haunt him, as it does with everyone who chooses that
path.

Today a California court sentenced Avenatti to
prison and ordered him to pay $10,000,000 in
restitution. Yahoo News reported, "The sentence
should run consecutively to the five years in prison
he is currently serving for separate convictions in
New York, U.S. District Judge James V. Selna said
during a hearing in Santa Ana, California. It is the
last of three major federal criminal cases to wrap
up against the 51-year-old Californian, who rose to
fame as he represented porn actor Stormy Daniels
during her legal battles with Donald Trump and
became one of the former president’s leading
adversaries."
When attorneys behave in this manner it erodes
public confidence in the legal system. U.S. District
Judge James V. Selna stated of the disgraced
attorney during sentencing, "He has also done great
evil, for which he much answer. It is now time to
pay his debts to the victims, the government and
society.”
