Hollywood actress, Keke Palmer, has been granted a restraining order against the father of her child, Darius Jackson. Keke and Darius welcomed a beautiful son, Leodis, this year (who looks like her). The couple broke up shortly after. Things continued to go downhill. Keke went to an Usher concert and was serenaded by the singer (many celebrities serenade other entertainers at their shows, but it doesn't mean anything is going on). Darius didn't take it that way.

Keke wore a revealing outfit to the concert. Darius publicly slammed Keke on social networking, stating she is a mom now and should not be dressed in that manner.The truth is he was jealous of Usher singing to her in a romantic manner, firmly believing something was going on. However, the two were just joking around and later did a music video together for one of Usher's new singles.

That was not the end of it. Things have since grown worse between the former couple and reached a point that Keke filed for a restraining order, which has been granted by the courts. Keke revealed Darius has been physically and verbally abusive to her, even trespassing in her home after their break-up. Keke included a still from a security camera in her home, which shows Darius throwing her over a couch and choking her for trying to telephone the police. Darius also tried to take her mobile phone.

Darius is bitter over their split. He had no money or real job prospects. Darius then met Keke and began dating the former child star turned successful entertainer as an adult. He was using her to elevate himself. Darius is a mixed race black man, who previously did not date black women as he is prejudice against his own race. Prior to dating Keke, Darius would date non-black women, as he has self-hatred regarding his race.

I'm not against interracial marriages. I think they are great. However, some black men only date women of other races in a vain attempt to distance themselves from being black. There are some black men with this hang-up and it is sad. They put down or exploit black women out of self-hate trying to get away from their own race. These men don't stop to think their mothers or grandmothers are black women and their conduct in this colorism and racism is very offensive.

In a weird way they are trying to distance themselves from their race, when they will never be seen as anything other than black. There is nothing wrong with dating or marrying other races, but when you constantly shun your own, never dating within your race, it sends a very negative impression.

Darius' ex-girlfriend, who is a mixed Hispanic tried to warn the public about his bad ways, but she was branded bitter by people on social networking. She had a right to be, though, as Darius pressured her into an abortion, due to the fact he had begun dating Keke and didn't want anyone to mess up the money he thought he would get from the actress. He did not love Keke. He was using her in trying to become rich and famous, while living in her mansion.

Many have stated the only reason colorist Darius dated Keke, a non-mixed/non-biracial black woman, is because she is rich and famous. Based on what I have read about Darius, I agree with those statements. Darius clearly dated Keke to live a more comfortable lifestyle and to launch his own career in the industry.

However, it is clear he was resentful of her success from the start and became abusive. Keke should not have been dating a man like that, but like so many in life, by the time she realized who he was they'd been together for a couple years (and have a child, whom she loves). Keke needs someone who will treat her well. No woman deserves the abuse she was put through.

You have some men in life who get by on their looks, but their ways are terrible. Darius is one of those men. However, pretty is as pretty does. Keke needs not go back to him. She needs to find someone who will treat her well. He is not better than she is, though he seems to think so because he is mixed.

Keke, there are other pretty men out there. If that's what you like, find yourself another one.
