Judge Tosses Lawsuit Against Hillary Clinton

July 17. 2009

Hillary Clinton and Obama

U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth tossed a lawsuit against President Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, for using the FBI to access the files of Republicans, during her husband, Bill Clinton's time in office.

The judge stated the Plaintiffs should not, "Require a person who is a busy Cabinet secretary at this point to submit to an oral deposition."

This, I do not agree with, as it sets a bad example. To state a "busy Cabinet secretary" should not be held accountable in a court of law, for the violation of others right to privacy for political gain, is to send the negative message she is above the law. Furthermore, Hillary busted her butt recently, breaking her elbow, therefore, surely she could sit down for an hour to be deposed by a lawyer. It would have set a better example in the world than this legal cop out. It also looks as though she has something to hide.

The FBI file controversy erupted in 1996 when the Clinton administration, which was under investigation for the firing of White House travel office employees, acknowledged it sought and received the FBI files of hundreds of prominent Republicans...
