Joe Biden v. Sarah Palin Debate October 2. 2008
Sarah Palin (Republican) I found today’s vice presidential debate engaging. I preferred it to the presidential debate, which got awkward and uncomfortable at times for viewers. Democrat, Joe Biden and Republican, Sarah Palin,
Democrats Barack Obama (left) and Joe Biden (right) Where Republican presidential candidate, John McCain, last week was able to insert his foreign policy experience over Democrat, Barack Obama, Joe Biden was able to assert his expertise in this realm over Sarah Palin. Biden’s strong point in the debate was he came across as a sincere, seasoned political veteran. Hollywood and the mainstream media’s “Sarah Palin is dumb” push was deflated tonight. Sorry, but she came across as knowing what she was talking about. Actually, I think Palin did a better job in the debate than McCain did last week. She didn’t lose her temper, she wasn’t patronizing and she got more stats in. She was able to successfully cite her track record as governor in her favor.
Joan McCain and Obama during last week's debate It was good that she was honest in stating she is not in favor of gay marriage, as it is un-Christian. The Bible makes it clear that marriage is between a man and a woman. Not a woman and a woman or a man and a man. They debated convincingly, to the point one would have to look their claims up online to verify it against actual congressional and gubernatorial records. It’s now up to you to decide. |
