Joe Biden Already Breaks Campaign Promise Regarding
$2,000 Stimulus Checks

In 2020 the U.S. Congress argued over providing a second round of
stimulus funds, after initially issuing $1,200 per person during the
coronavirus pandemic. Congress settled on a paltry $600 that was issued
after the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, to many people's ire.

Many thought the second stimulus check would be for $2,000, which is a
figure better than nothing, but not enough to save many from financial
ruin, having lost their jobs during the pandemic (some still have not
received unemployment). President-elect Joe Biden promised $2,000 in a
third round of stimulus checks in early 2021. However, now Biden's
Democrats in Congress are stating the check will be for $1,400, thus
breaking his promise.
