Jada Pinkett Smith Should Not Have Put Tupac First In Her Life

I saw an item recently that made me wonder why actress Jada Pinkett Smith kept staying around the late rapper, Tupac, who did not treat her like she was the love of his life. Jada was and is pretty, could have easily found someone else, but kept hanging around Tupac, who would not commit to her, opting to sleep around.

However, to this day, Jada continues to profess her love for him, when it does not appear he felt the same way. I think he cared about her, but I don't think he was as in love with her. This conduct has repeatedly offended Jada's husband of 24-years, actor Will Smith.

Take for instance in the 1990s when Tupac made an appearance on the television show “A Different World.” Jada was a supporting actress on the show. Tupac knew this. After all, they knew each other along time and he saw her on the program and the set.

However, Tupac promptly went after stunning lead actress, Jasmine Guy, and they began dating. A former girlfriend of Tupac’s stated he trusted Jasmine and was at her home often. That’s a slap in the face to Jada, whom he knew since high school, they dated and she was still in love with him.

Tupac even went off and married someone else. Tupac was married to Keisha Morris-Shakur from 1995 to 1996. She had the marriage annulled. Tupac died of gunfire in 1996 during a targeted killing in Las Vegas. He was 25-years-old. He was said to be engaged to Kidada Jones at the time. She is the daughter of music producer, Quincy Jones, whom Tupac had insulted for dating and marrying white women. Tupac later apologized.

Jada and Tupac also reminded me of the late rapper Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and her pursuit of him. Lisa called Tupac up to her room for sex, but he was put off by the fact she was wearing Naughty By Nature underwear, which is the rap group of his best friend, Treach. Tupac also began dodging Lisa, branding her crazy. Then she moved in with Suge Knight, who ran the label Tupac was signed to, Death Row Records.

Lisa cheated on her boyfriend, football player, Andre Rison, who was financially supporting her for years. She moved into his house the day she met him. However, she later cheated with Tupac and Suge Knight. She kept pursuing Tupac, which greatly offended Andre.

In a rage because he went shopping and did not bring her any sneakers (trainers) Lisa burned down Andre's beautiful Atlanta home, after he took good care of her (paying her bills, giving her a Mercedes and taking her into his mansion) and gave her TLC group members Tionne "T-Boz" and Rhozanda "Chilli" Thomas money to help with bills and legal fees in reference to their record contracts. Lisa went to jail for a short time on the arson offense.

Then there’s the late, beautiful Whitney Houston. Whitney’s ex-husband and singer, Bobby Brown, stated she cheated on him with Tupac during their marriage (Bobby was cheating too). Bobby stated he was offended when Whitney heard Tupac was shot to death and began bawling her eyes out for days.

Tupac also had sex with Mary J. Blige, Lil Kim, Michele, Sara Chapman (mother of one of Diddy's children) and Karyn Parsons (the pretty actress who memorably played the character "Hillary" on the television show "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" which starred Will Smith). Tupac kept sleeping with people's wives and it brought spiritual disfavor on him in life.

Tupac was also having threesomes with groupies with his male colleagues involved. There is a interview he did where Tupac went into the bathroom (toilet) with a female groupie and one of his male entourage members. Then, they closed the door, after indicating they were going to have sex. Tupac was a great rapper, but he lived a very ungodly lifestyle and it brought trouble on him.

Even in the face of all that wild sexual behavior from Tupac, Jada still pursued him and is still mourning him to this day. The question is why. He did not treat you like a priority. God gave us each a soulmate. Some people find and marry the person. Others destroy the relationship by cheating and or being physically abusive.

I think Keisha was the one for Tupac. He married her within 4-months of meeting her, and she was not rich or famous. Some people become starstruck and marry a person for their fame. Keisha wasn't famous. She was a woman going to university to obtain her criminal justice degree (which she has since done).

Jada needs to let go of this idea that Tupac was her soulmate, because it is causing her emotional distress, as the circumstances indicate he was not the one for her. He opted to marry someone else in 1995. Jada got married to will 2-years later in 1997.

In life you have to look at a person's behavior. If they are not making time to spend with you and do not propose, it means they are not serious about you. Don't waste your time on someone who is behaving like that. They may care for you as a friend (and I do think Tupac cared for Jada as a friend) but it was more that than anything else.

She's gone through heartbreak over this man for decades because of it. Judging by what I've heard and read about Tupac, Jada is not the only one who has gone through this. This is one of the reasons it is not good to lead people on. It causes real damage. There are famous and non-famous men right now stringing along different women and they should not do things like that. Be honest with people and stop cheating.
