Disgraced "Empire" actor, Jussie Smollet, has gone against the advice of legal analysts in taking the stand in his criminal trial for perpetrating a hoax hate crime against himself for publicity. Smollet took the stand today and stated the incident regarding two men wearing red MAGA hats attacking him, placing a noose around his head and pouring bleach on him in Chicago, was not a hoax. However, police later uncovered evidence that revealed Smollet paid two men he knew, one of whom was an extras on the show "Empire," to attack him.

I have it on very good authority it was a hoax on Smollet's part. He got the idea from a unpublished script and ran with it by adding the gay angle to the staged attack. Smollett wanted publicity for his acting career and new album, which were basically stagnating, and thought staging a hate crime against himself for being black and gay would generate a massive amount of publicity (and it did, just not in the way he wanted). The full truth is going to come out one day. Jussie may as well confess. It's only a matter of time before the truth comes out.
