Gold Medalist Jonnie Peacock Turning Down TV Offers To Concentrate On Sport

December 6. 2012

Jonnie Peacock

Britain's golden boy, Jonnie Peacock, 19, sensationally won a gold medal at the London 2012 Paralympics in the 100m sprint final. Since that time, in addition to making appearances on well know British talk shows, he has been inundated with offers to do television programs such as "I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here."

Peacock has turned down the offer to concentrate on sprinting. He stated this week, "First and foremost I’m an athlete and that’s my main focus." However, as he looks good and speaks well, he could be a sports pundit in his spare time and still remain in his realm of athletics.
