French Kissing Increases HPV STD Infection Risk

The Journal of Infectious Diseases released a study revealing HPV and gonorrheal pharyngitis is being spread ~~by Paris Hilton~~ through French kissing and oral sex.

Side Bar: on a serious note, you guys know, somehow, this mess is Paris Hilton's fault. I can't prove it yet, but give me a little time and a lab kit and I will! Get them in a lab and her ex-boyfriends probably glow in the dark like their cells are infected with radiation from Chernobyl and Hiroshima combined.

"French" kissing ups risk of oral HPV infection

Tue May 12, 2009 3:05pm EDT - NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - Oral sex and open-mouthed "French" kissing increase the risk of acquiring oral infections of human papillomavirus, or HPV, a study shows.

"Performing oral sex is not without risks," Dr. Maura L. Gillison told Reuters Health.

It is associated with gonorrheal pharyngitis - a sexually transmitted infection of the tonsils and back of the throat that immediately causes symptoms, she noted, and now is associated with mouth HPV infections that are silent "yet may lead to oral cancer 10 to 20 years later."
