Former U.S. President, Donald Trump,
has released an angry statement slamming friend
turned rival, Florida Governor Ronald "Ron" DeSantis.
In the statement Trump referred to DeSantis' former
political rival, Andrew Gillum as "a crack head"
(that is the line that stood out most for people on
social networking, as it began trending on Twitter).
Trump slammed DeSantis as having
come to him 4-years ago begging for help, because
his political career was dead. DeSantis became
Trump's protégé. Even their mannerisms are the same.
Trump helped DeSantis raise millions in funding and
gain MAGA voters. However, DeSantis now wants to be
president and could potentially run against Trump
for the Republican party's nomination. It would be
Ron vs. Don.
Trump referred to DeSantis as "DeSanctimonius."
This upset Trump and DeSantis fans, as seen on
social networking. Days ago Trump's lawyers
warned DeSantis to "stand down" then attempted to
soften it by stating, "You're doing a great job in
Florida."
Republican voters on social
networking would like to see Trump and DeSantis work
together. The Democrats seek to get Trump out the
way, but they have publicly stated in their
estimation they fear Ron is worse than Don. In the
meantime, Democrat voters want the Democrats to
ditch Biden. Things are getting tense on both sides.
