A female boxer has beaten her husband to death.
34-year-old Viviane Obenauf flew into a rage and beat her
61-year-old husband, Thomas, to death "with a blunt object." Obenauf
was arrested in Switzerland on charges of murder, after allegedly
killing her husband in his restaurant.
Yahoo News is reporting Obenauf's husband,
"Suffered trauma from a blunt instrument and his injuries suggested
a 'sustained violent assault.'" Obenaud is in custody on the
charges. Sometimes boxers sustain head injuries that make them act
in a manner they normally would not under regular circumstances. It
is not an excuse for murder, but may explain what transpired.
