23-year-old Yasmin Johal stated her 2-year-old son Remy was repeatedly spit at on the street by a far right racist in Nottingham, England, who kept follow them down the street. The racist also threatened to smash the little boy's head on the pavement.

When Yasmin's boyfriend, who is Remy's dad, asked the man why he was racially abusing and threatening his son, he replied, "Your child is my problem." Yasmin stated, "He made it very clear within the first few things he said that his problem was with Remy, which was really scary. If it was just directed at me I wouldn't really be fussed, but it was a massive shock."

Police have opened an investigation into the case. Superintendent Matthew McFarlane of the from Nottinghamshire Police, condemned the incident, stating such conduct is "not acceptable." He further stated, "This is an awful incident, I fail to comprehend how anyone can abuse and spit at a child like this. Racist incidents will not be tolerated."

While the police have pursued such offenders across the country and made arrests, their work is being undercut and undermined by public figures such as Boris Johnson, member of Parliament Jacob Rees-Moog, politician Nigel Farage, and social networking personalities Kaite Hopkins and Tommy Robinson. 

This incident is more in a mounting series of proof that the legacy of the far right "hostile environment" remains in full effect to the detriment of the country. Britain did not have these problems in modern times, until the 2016 Brexit referendum. The far right was always there, but due to the public conduct of May, Johnson, Rees-Moog, Farage, Robinson and Hopkins, they now feel free to openly attack and abuse people based on race and country of origin.

Prior to Brexit, one of the things people in the Caribbean Commonwealth nations applauded about Britain in modern times is its civility. However, this far right wave is destroying said civility with their conduct. There are racial, xenophobic and homophobic attacks popping up in Britain that were not happening prior to Brexit.

The mere fact someone from the far right saw it appropriate to racially abuse a beautiful 2-year-old child says how far out of control their white supremacist movement has become. There is no need for this. You are damaging the country and you need to stop.

2 March 2020 - A two-year-old boy was repeatedly spat at, threatened and racially abused, his mother said. Yasmin Johal was walking in Mansfield Road, Nottingham, with her son Remy and boyfriend Danny on Sunday afternoon when a man followed the young family.
