'The Ellen Show' Is Coming To
An End Due To Claims Of Bullying And Racism With Its
Host Ellen Degeneres Publicly Branded A Fake
May 17. 2021
Ellen Degeneres, who has been accused of
maintaining a toxic, racist work environment, is
pictured at the White House receiving the nation's
highest civilian honor, the Medal of Freedom,
ironically awarded by former U.S. president, Barack
Obama, who is black (nice going Obama, not).
For years
comedian-turned-talk-show-host Ellen Degeneres made
a name for herself as supposedly being a nice
person. At least that was her image. However,
underneath the image was something entirely
different and quite mean.
After remaining silent for a very
long time, a slew of people began coming forward
slamming Ellen as a mean bully and racist,
subjecting employees and others in the industry to
abuse. Employees revealed "The Ellen Show" is a
toxic, racist work environment.
People from different backgrounds,
races and nations have been telling horror stories
about their encounters with Ellen. Their
interactions with Ellen behind the scenes were so
poor, they had nothing good to say about her to the
press when they finally came forward.
Ellen Degeneres
Many remained silent for years
because they did not want to be blacklisted in
Hollywood. Ellen is very vindictive and has
blacklisted people, which made others in the
industry afraid for their jobs. However, as certain
big shots and the Feds wanted to bring Ellen down,
some began leaking information on her bad behavior
that the public did not know about, as it was
carefully hidden to maintain her fake image.
Since the scandal exploded, Ellen’s
ratings have steadily plummeted. Networks dislike
poor ratings, as it means low ad revenue in air time
that could go to other programming that would pull
in more money. Now Ellen is calling it quits in
stating the show is no longer challenging. However,
the truth is if the ratings were high she would
continue with the show.
Ellen has been nasty to a lot of
people behind the scenes. She has ruined careers for
the smallest perceived offenses, which in many cases
were imagined. When you destroy people for no
reason, don't be surprised when it comes back to
haunt you. As the phrase goes, "You reap what you
sow."

DeGeneres Show” have added their voices to growing
complaints that the “Be Kind” talk show host

fired for speaking up about discrimination, taking a
mental health leave, attending family funerals or
setting up a GoFundMe page to cover medical costs
not covered by their workplace health insurance.
The claims come in a new article by
BuzzFeed News and follow previous reports that
counter the friendly, compassionate image that
DeGeneres and her long-running show project through
highly publicized cash give-aways and other acts of

“That ‘be kind’ (expletive) only
happens when the cameras are on,” one former
employee told BuzzFeed News. “I know they give money
to people and help them out, but it’s for show.” One
former Black employee claimed she was the subject of
racist micro-aggressions and abuse over an 18-month

Richard Reid recalls his nightmare encounter
with Ellen DeGeneres that 'still sends shivers down
his spine'... as he says 'it's about time' people
saw her as a 'bitter uncaring control freak'

Updated: 03:25 EDT, 15 May 2021 - Ellen DeGeneres
confirmed this week she was ending her long-running
talk show after 19 seasons following a highly-publicised
toxic workplace scandal.
And on Friday, Australian
entertainment reporter Richard Reid sensationally
said 'it's about time' fans saw Ellen as a 'bitter,
uncaring control freak' as he recalled his own
encounters with the host that still 'sends shivers
down his spine'.
'Twenty-two years [ago] I had a
first-hand taste of the DeGeneres brand of terror
that left half her staff cowering for cover and the
other half drowning in tears,' the 56-year-old wrote
in a column for news.com.au.
Speaking out: On Friday, Australian
entertainment reporter Richard Reid sensationally
said 'it's about time' that fans saw Ellen DeGeneres
as a 'bitter, uncaring control freak', as he
recalled his own encounters with the TV host that
still ‘sends shivers down his spine.’
Richard went on to say that in 1998,
he had travelled to Los Angeles to interview Ellen's
then-girlfriend Anne Heche about her new movie. The
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star recalled
that he dressed in his best suit and tie for the
occasion, and while waiting for an elevator spotted
Anne skipping around the corner in a 'Hollywood Boho-chic'
ensemble.
Richard said he quickly realised
'how incredibly overdressed' he was, and felt
foolish in the presence of Anne - who playfully told
him how 'sharp' he looked. In the same light-hearted
manner, he replied with: 'Is that what you're
wearing?'
But after the words fell from his
mouth, he claims Ellen came shooting around the
corner, raging: 'You can’t talk to my girlfriend
that way. She can wear whatever she wants. Why do
you even care what she’s wearing?'
He claims that Ellen fumed that it
was 'none of his business' how she dressed, before
saying 'he should be the one' who should change.
Ellen then apparently refused to get in the same
lift as Richard, while Anne mouthed an apology to
him.
He clarified that he wasn't being
rude to Anne with his comment, but he himself just
felt 'overdressed' and a little foolish. In 2004,
Richard says he encountered Ellen for a second time
while on a red carpet working for Access Hollywood.
As he attempted to interview her, Ellen looked at
him and simply said: 'You'.
She then asked who he worked for,
before declining to talk to him and instead speaking
to his competition at Entertainment Tonight. 'My
interactions with Ellen lasted no more than five or
six minutes in total, but it was enough for me to
see the true colours behind her fake persona of
sweetness and still send shivers down my spine more
than two decades on,' he concluded.
