Drake Posts Photo Of His Son To Much
Criticism On Social NetworkingMarch 30.

Drake and his son
Today rapper Drake, real name Aubry
Graham, posted a photo of his 2-year-old son, Adonis
Graham, to his Instagram page, to much criticism and
inappropriate comments. Drake once rapped, "I wasn't
hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world
from my kid."
Drake is biracial (black and white).
Drake's son looks more like the white side of his
family. The little boy has blonde hair, blue eyes and
white skin, like Drake's mother. In fact, the boy looks
exactly like Drake's mother and there's nothing wrong
with that. Drake's mom is pretty.
However, some people are stating Drake,
a black rapper, hid his son because he looks white. Some
people on social networking have insulted the boy's
looks, which is a mean thing to do. Some are clearly of
the belief Drake's son looking white impacts his dad's
street credibility as a rapper. Some are even saying the
boy is not his child (and that Drake thought the same).
However, that's how genetics works, especially when
you're mixed race. The child can be born looking like
either race.
Drake and his mom
The mother of Drake's child, Sophie
Brussaux, is white and has genes for blonde hair and
blue eyes. Brussaux's genes picked up the same blonde
hair and blue eyes genes from Drake's line, regarding
his mother. Genes of two parents often look for what is
similar in each other, then the gene is expressed in the
child.
I have friends who have brown eyes and
black hair and their kids were born with light eyes and
light colored hair like their Caribbean grandparents.
Some genes are more dominant and easily expressed. Mixed
raced people are used to this.
My grandfather was black African
(Ghanaian descent) and my grandmother white Irish and
Brazilian Indian. Their five children were all born with
different shades of skin from light to dark, curly hair
and with mixed looking facial features that made people
repeatedly ask for decades if they're mixed with Indian.
One daughter was born with red hair like my Irish
great-grandmother. It skipped my mom but the red hair
gene hit me. That's how race mixing works.
However, too often, when people do not
understand something, they criticize, as we are seeing
with some people's reaction to Drake's son. The little
boy doesn't deserve that. He's just a kid. There's
nothing wrong with how he looks.
