"Don't Ask Don't Tell" Repealed December 22. 2010 Barack Obama U.S. President Barack Obama, signed into law, the congressional repeal of the military's "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy, which barred homosexuals from openly serving in the military. Many in the U.S. military did not want the law repealed and a number of studies, with input from the nation's top generals, stated it will affect "cohesion." Soldiers are already stating they intend to leave the military, due to the legislation being struck down. Time will show, it is going to weaken the U.S. military and diminish its potency in the world. |
