Don't Ask Don't Tell Repeal Fails September 21. 2010 U.S. President Barack Obama In another blow to the gay movement, the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" military rule, which allows the U.S. armed forces to fire a soldier for being openly gay, has been upheld, as a bid to overturn it failed in the Senate. It is being said, openly gay behavior will negatively impact military "cohesion" becoming a distraction and source of distress to heterosexual soldiers. Due to close quarters and open nudity, some would feel uncomfortable and be distracted.
