Doctor And His Girlfriend Arrested Accused Of Drugging And Raping Hundreds Of Women October 9. 2018
Cerissa Riley and Dr. Grant Robicheaux 38-year-old California surgeon and reality star, Dr. Grant Robicheaux and his girlfriend, Cerissa Riley, 31, have been arrested on charges of drugging and raping intoxicated women. Previously, Dr. Robicheaux appeared on the Bravo reality show "Online Dating Rituals of the American Male." Investigators discovered thousands of videos and photos on Dr. Robicheaux's phone of women who were drugged and rape, but were too intoxicated to grant consent to sexual activity. District Attorney Tony Rackauckas stated the women in the videos and photos on Dr. Robicheaux's phone, "Appear to be highly intoxicated beyond the ability to consent or resist, and they’re barely responsive to the defendant’s sexual advances." The District Attorney also stated, "The second defendant, being a female, is key. A woman purporting to be his girlfriend clearly played a significant role in disarming the victims, making them feel comfortable and safe." Dr. Robicheaux has been charged with, "Rape by use of drugs, oral copulation by anesthesia or controlled substance, assault with intent to commit sexual offense, possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of an assault weapon." Riley has been charged in the case as well for participating in her boyfriend's criminal behavior. Dr. Robicheaux and his girlfriend are denying the charges. However, the video and photos represent evidence that is stacked against them. The couple is free on $100,000 bond and are scheduled to be arraigned on October 24, 2018. It is quite foolish to go to university and medical school for several years, only to throw it all away on risky criminal behavior. Nothing could be worth that. However, anyone drugging and sexually assaulting people is of poor judgment and should not be practicing medicine. Through their criminal misdeeds Grant Robicheaux and Cerissa Riley have shown they present a danger to the public. STORY SOURCE Official: More possible victims of California doctor
found LOS ANGELES (AP) — Investigators have identified three more possible victims after a California surgeon and his girlfriend were charged with drugging and raping two intoxicated women, prosecutors said Wednesday. Michelle Van Der Linden, a spokeswoman for the Orange County district attorney’s office, said prosecutors have received numerous calls since Tuesday, when the initial charges were announced against Dr. Grant Robicheaux and Cerissa Riley. Robicheaux once appeared in a reality TV show called “Online Dating Rituals of the American Male.” Defense attorneys say the suspects deny the claims. “All allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Grant Robicheaux and his girlfriend Cerissa Riley,” attorneys Philip Cohen and Scott Borthwick said in a statement. The attorneys said none of the allegations involve Robicheaux’s medical practice or patients. Robicheaux, 38, of Newport Beach and Riley, 31, of Brea were arrested Sept. 12 after being charged with rape by use of drugs, oral copulation by anesthesia or controlled substance, and other crimes, District Attorney Tony Rackauckas told reporters. He said investigators were examining thousands of videos and images on Robicheaux’s phone... |
