Deadly Hurricane Dorian Levels Structures In
The Bahamas (Video)
September 2. 2019
Category 5 hurricane Dorian slammed into the Bahamas
this past weekend and shredded many structures. The slow moving
hurricane hit winds of 180MPH, which destroyed buildings and caused
fatalities. It is currently down to a Category 4, but is still doing
significant damage with winds of 130MPH.
Dorian is moving at a very slow speed of 1MPH. The
longer the hurricane stays put, the more damage it does to the
region. There was a similar scenario in Miami in 2017, regarding
hurricane Irma, which was a very slow moving Category 4 storm.
Previously, storms like the massively damaging Category 5 hurricane Andrew, did
not linger over the region for a long period of time.
Meteorologists are now predicting that Dorian is
headed for America's east coast. Over 1,000,000 people on costal
areas in America were ordered to evacuate. Based on meteorologists
predicts, Dorian is predicted to hit parts of Florida, Georgia and
South Carolina. My condolences to the people of the Bahamas.
