Passed Away In Florida February 29. 2012
Former teen singer, Davy Jones, of the pop band "The Monkees" passed away in Florida today of a heart attack. He was 66-years-old. The Manchester born Brit, shot to fame with the quintet The Monkeys, as a singer, songwriter and actor in their television show of the same name in the 1960s. Their hits included "I'm A Believer" and "Daydream Believer.
The Monkees I remember watching reruns of "The Monkeys" television show in the 1980s as a kid. I thought Davy was so cute with a melodic voice. The Judiciary Report sends its condolences regarding his passing. |
