You just can’t make stuff like this up. ABC News is reporting, "A dog that was left Police say a dog that was left in an unattended vehicle pushed it into drive and the car struck a pedestrian in central Pennsylvania." The unnamed man is recovering from his injuries.

Can you imagine seeing something like that happen and then having to report it to the police, explaining what transpired. Witness, "Yea this dog put the car in drive and ran over the man who is now jacked and knocked out on the ground." The police will Britney Spears you on a psych hold.

Dog puts car into drive, injures central Pa. man

Updated at 01:33 PM today - YORK, Pa. - March 27, 2013 (WPVI) -- Police say a dog that was left in an unattended vehicle pushed it into drive and the car struck a pedestrian in central Pennsylvania. West York Police say the accident happened shortly before 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and the pedestrian was found lying in the street.

The York Daily Record reports police say the car had been left running when the dog inside knocked it into gear, causing it to slowly drive away. He was treated at a hospital for his injuries.
