Criminal Case Against U.S. General Mike Flynn DroppedMay 8. 2020

"Unsealed Notes Of FBI Official Shows
The Agency Set Up General Mike Flynn With The Goal Of Getting Him Fired
Or Jailed To Get To Donald Trump." In the article I questioned
the validity of the case against U.S. General Mike Flynn, who was
set up by the FBI.
The Justice Department stated the
interview to entrap Mike Flynn was "untethered"
"unjustified" and "conducted without any legitimate
investigative basis." The DOJ further stated, "Indeed,
the FBI itself had recognized that it lacked sufficient
basis to sustain its initial counterintelligence
investigation by seeking to close that very
investigation without even an interview with Mr. Flynn."
One week later, the case was dropped against Flynn.
The announcement was made yesterday. Flynn's attorney, Sidney
Powell, commented on the news, "This was a deliberate, malevolent,
concerted effort to destroy an honest man and thereby get to the
President of the United States."
Meanwhile, disgruntled former FBI
official, Andrew McCabe, referred to the charges being
dropped as "pure politics." Considering McCabe
misappropriated government money, committed perjury,
lied to Congress and the FBI, he needs to shut up (Department Of Justice Files Court
Motion Asking Judge To Throw Out Wrongful Termination Lawsuit Of Former
FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe).

Tainted Gov: Flynn Case Exposes FBI
April 30, 2020 - As far as liberal
set-ups go, it certainly followed the formula: a phone
call, the Russians, a high-ranking government official's
son, lying prosecutors, even some of the same
politically-motivated FBI agents. But the case against
General Michael Flynn had another familiar storyline in
the Left's war against Donald Trump -- a lack of
evidence. Based on the bombshell evidence today -- a
damning picture of FBI corruption, coercion, and
entrapment -- it seems General Flynn's only real crime
was ending up in an administration the Democrats wanted
to destroy.
He was on the job for less than a month.
The three-star Army general had only been working as
President Trump's national security advisor for a few
weeks when news broke of his resignation. Later, we
learned that he'd pled guilty to misleading the FBI
about a call he had with a Russian ambassador. But even
then, folks said, it didn't add up. A lot of people --
former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy the loudest
among them -- cried foul. Why would Flynn lie to the FBI
about a call he knew they were listening to? And if
there was "no evidence of wrongdoing" in that
conversation (as even the Washington Post reported), why
was he subject to an investigation in the first place?
"Flynn is not a foreign agent," McCarthy
insisted at the time. "There was no need to 'grill' him
over the contents of a conversation of which the FBI and
Justice Department already had a recording. And the FBI
has no business probing the veracity of public
statements made by presidential administrations for
political purposes -- something it certainly resisted
doing during the Obama administration. It is easy to see
why Democrats would want to portray Flynn's contact with
the Russian ambassador as worthy of an FBI
investigation. But why did the FBI and the Justice
Department investigate Flynn -- and why did 'officials'
make sure the press found out about it?"...
This didn't start when Donald Trump
arrived on the scene. The last four years of political
prejudice has been staggering, to be sure, but any trust
Americans had in the nation's top law enforcement agency
was misplaced long before that. Our country deserves
better. General Flynn and President Trump deserve
better. But the FBI's treatment here is business as
usual. And that, some argue, is the scandal. It must
stop.

Flynn's attorney Sidney Powell says prosecution
tried 'destroy an honest man'
Thursday, May 7, 2020 - Michael Flynn’s
attorney said late Thursday the Justice Department’s
prosecution of the former national security adviser was
an attempt to destroy President Trump. Sidney Powell,
who took over Flynn’s case last summer, appeared on Fox
News for a victory lap after the Justice Department
dropped criminal charges against her client.
“This was a deliberate, malevolent,
concerted effort to destroy an honest man and thereby
get to the President of the United States,” said in an
interview with Sean Hannity. “There is no doubt about it
whatsoever.” Flynn had pleaded guilty in 2017 to lying
to FBI agents about his communications with the Russian
ambassador. He sought to withdraw his guilty plea...

Justice Department drops case against Michael Flynn
after prosecutor withdrew
The Justice Department on Thursday
dropped its criminal case against President Trump’s
first national security adviser, Michael Flynn, a
shocking reversal in one of the most high-profile cases
brought by special counsel Robert Mueller. Flynn pleaded
guilty in late 2017 to lying to the FBI about his
conversations with the Russian ambassador to the U.S...
Despite the lack of evidence, FBI
officials went ahead with interviewing Flynn at the
White House in January 2017. Flynn’s statements during
that meeting were the basis for his prosecution, but the
Justice Department said Thursday in a court filing that
there was “no basis” to conduct the interview...
