Coronavirus Cases Spiking In Many U.S. States Due
To Delta Variant (Video)
June 21. 2021
Newly released reports this week
indicate America is experiencing a spike in
coronavirus cases, due to variants present in the
nation. The up-tick in coronavirus cases is being
attributed to the Delta variant, which is the
fastest spreading in America. It is projected it
will become the dominant variant in America within
the next few weeks.
The Delta variant also spread
rapidly in Britain, prompting prime minister Boris
Johnson, to extend lockdown dates by one month. It
has also spread to parts of Europe, such as the
nation of Portugal. The World Health Organization
estimates the Delta variant has spread to 80
countries.
U.S. president Joe Biden has missed
some of his vaccination targets. However, he stated
over half of America is vaccinated. The Delta
variant is proving itself to be a serious test to
his vaccination effort, as fully vaccinated people
are still becoming sick.

everywhere.
So far, 17 states and the
District have reached President Biden’s goal
of vaccinating 70 percent of adults with at
least one shot, which is building in those
states an effective firewall against large
outbreaks in the fall and winter. Vermont
recently reported that 80 percent of its
population has at least one shot, making it
the first state in the union to possibly
achieve herd immunity...
