Controversial Judge Aaron Persky Removed From The Bench After Giving Rapist Brock Turner 6-Months In Jail

Aaron Persky has been removed from the bench via a recall vote

California judge Aaron Persky has been recalled from the bench in a sensational public vote, after corruptly giving affluent rapist, Brock Turner, a paltry sentence of 6-months in jail, when prosecutors requested 6-years. Turner raped an unconscious woman. He showed very little remorse for his crimes. He was more concerned about his athletic career that the terrible impact of his actions on the victim.

Persky’s decision caused outrage in America, which triggered the recall vote in California. Perksy actively campaigned against the vote, in a last ditch attempt to keep his job, but failed. Persky is now the only judge to be recalled in California state history since 1932. What a dubious distinction.
