Chris Brown Lawyer To Depose Former Manager
Mike G Who
Sued Him For Assault And Defamation

Chris Brown
In 2016 singer Chris Brown’s former manager Mike G sued him
for, “False imprisonment, assault, battery, defamation, and breach of
contract.” Mike G stated he was hospitalized due to the injuries
bipolar Brown inflicted on him in a rage. Ironically, Mike G states
he was hired to revamp Brown’s image after the Rihanna domestic
violence case, where the singer was hit with a felony charge for
beating up his ex-girlfriend, after she spat in his face and began
punching him for cheating (but she too was cheating with Jay Z,
Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, TI, The Dream, and Eminem, among
others).
Brown did not deny Mike G’s claims regarding
assaulting his manager. During the course of the legal case,
problems arose for Brown, which landed him into trouble with the law. Brown was
sanctioned $1,760 by the judge for failing to produce evidence that
Mike G’s attorney formally requested in the case. It gave the
appearance Brown was hiding something incriminating from the court.
Mike G also requested legal documents concerning all
of Brown’s arrests and court cases, regarding assaults committed by
the singer over the past decade. Brown has been in trouble for
assaulting ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran, which led to a restraining
order. Brown was also in legal hot water for assaulting
photographers, bystanders and fans in separate incidents. Brown has repeatedly been in and
out of court, due to his anger management problems, which manifested
itself in violence against others. Brown was also
arrested for rape in Paris, in a charge he denies and continues to
dispute.
The Mike G case is headed for trial on October 11, 2019, if
both parties fail to come to a settlement agreement on the matter,
which would terminate all legal proceedings. Reports indicate Brown is
trying to settle the lawsuit. However, it has not been confirmed by
the singer’s legal representatives at this time. Brown also has other
legal problems on his plate, such as the aforementioned rape case and
other assault
matters that are in litigation. Compounding Brown's troubles is
the fact his main attorney, Mark Geragos, is under criminal
investigation for an extortion attempt by fellow lawyer,
Michael Avenatti.
