Cardi B made an appearance in criminal court
yesterday for her arraignment, in reference to the case brought
against her for ordering an attack on two sisters, Rachel Wattley
and Sarah Wattley, whom she accused of having an affair with her
husband, rapper Offset, of the group the Migos. Cardi sent thugs to
the strip club the sisters worked as bartenders and had them
assaulted. The sisters were then fired from the strip club for
pursuing criminal charges and a lawsuit against the rapper.

The hearing was originally scheduled for Monday, but
Cardi B missed it due to a prior commitment. Judge Scott Dunn
warned on Monday regarding Cardi’s absence, “You should inform
her that if she doesn’t show up to the arraignment on December
7, that unless the circumstances change, then it’s very likely
the court will issue a bench warrant for her arrest.”

Fearing incarceration and the negative publicity
that would ensue, Cardi, real name Belcalis Almanzar, showed up for
court this time. Judge Dunn warned Cardi to stay away from the two
sisters, after she answered to misdemeanor charges. She was released
without bail, pending trial.

After she left the courthouse, Cardi found out she was
nominated for 5 Grammy awards. Cardi stated to reporters, “This is not how I
expected to find out I’m nominated for a Grammy.” This was her big year in
music. However, it has been marred by her husband’s rampant cheating and the
criminal case she is now saddled with, due to her unwise decision to order an
assault on others over his infidelities. No man is worth getting in trouble for
and to make matters worse, she is now divorcing Offset.
