Candidates Support Bailout Bill While Bush Panics

September 30. 2008

The failure of the $700 billion dollar bailout bill hit President Bush hard. However, that was no reason to punish the rest of the nation by cutting into programming every 5 minutes, begging Congress like a husband that’s been kicked out of the house by his wife.

Was he crying while begging Congress in this picture. The eyes are all watery.

A couple days ago, President Bush cut into the TV show "Regis And Kelly" right as sprinter Usain Bolt was being interviewed and I was not amused.

In another incident, while I was watching the real news, President Bush cut in again with more Congressional begging. Once again, I was not amused.

For the past few days, the President has been popping out of the White House like a bird in a cuckoo clock, repeating the same things over and over again.

Yes, Mr. President, we know, you messed up and now the economy is messed up, but could you stop cutting into programming. Try to fit the begging in during commercials. Why should citizens be broke and bored and un-entertained as well.

Regarding the battered bailout bill, it is scheduled to head back to the floor for another vote in Congress this week. Some are hoping for Wednesday, October 1, 2008, according to news reports.

Barack Obama (Democrat)

Both of the 2008 presidential candidates, Barack Obama and John McCain, are pushing for the bill, but frankly, I do not believe for one second that $700 billion can fix the broken U.S. economy, nor do I think the money will end up in the right place.

Even with a bill in place, the war in Iraq will continue to bleed America dry, continuing and creating other adverse financial conditions.

John McCain (Republican)

The government needs to cut exorbitant spending. Stop spending like a drunk sailor staying with Paris Hilton for the weekend. The economy, much like the sailor after his weekend with Paris, will need a shot to cure it.

Obama Wants Americans To Support Bailout

McCain: Treasury Could Spend $1 Trillion on Bailout Without Congressional Approval

RENO, Nev. (AP) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is calling for Americans to get behind attempts to salvage a $700 billion rescue plan for the financial sector.

Obama told a crowd at the University of Nevada at Reno on Tuesday that if Wall Street fails, ordinary people will be hurt, too.

The Illinois Democrat warned that if Congress doesn't take action, people will find it tougher to get a mortgage for a home, a loan for college or a loan to buy a car...
