Britney Spears Still Flaking On Live Performances …Yet Just Announced A Live Tour December 3. 2008
Can you say constipated Pop lip-syncer Britney Spears has just announced a tour. Is it an arena tour, you ask? No. This is not just any tour – it’s a long arena tour at some of the nation’s biggest stadiums. I see trouble coming. This woman has been running from live microphones like it’s the 5150 ward at the psych hospital. How is she going to do a live tour. Her album sales are not very good either, especially for her
previous numbers that other artists are
Now that she is struggling with schizophrenia, they are really tempting trouble in sending her out on a major arena tour. She couldn’t even handle a live performance at the Rockefeller Center tonight for the Christmas tree lighting. Therefore, how is she going to handle a full tour. Britney in Crisis! The early signs of cracks in Brit's armor are already beginning to show, as she pulled a diva trip on the producers of the 2008 Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting ceremony, where she first pledged to perform and then yo-yoed back and forth until ultimately deciding on simply filming a pre-taped greeting. Britney Spears Bigger as a Trainwreck Britney Spears wasn't exactly sensational. Neither were the ratings. Sunday's MTV low-key confessional special, Britney: For the Record, averaged 3.7 million viewers, per the network. Britney Spears sleepwalks, lip-syncs on 'Good Morning America' So, with all that nonstop rehearsing we saw her doing on her MTV documentary, why did her GMA routine still remind some viewers of her disastrous Video Music Awards performance? Not that she didn’t look good. Make that great. But just like she did in London earlier this week, Britney seemed to lip-sync and stumble her way through her songs. British fans watching her performance on "X Factor" were reportedly outraged about her not really singing. Her U.S. fans may be a little more forgiving of (and used to) her faux singing, but it's still a little disconcerting to watch... Sadly, her previously energetic dance style is still MIA. In her GMA performance "Womanizer," there was that familiar strutting sleepwalker stomp, eerily reminiscent of her attempted 2007 comeback on MTV. But one wonders, why can’t she sing and dance at the same time? It's like those slow stomping moves would have caused her to be out of breath. |
