Previous Site Claims." Today, Britain's
Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has raised taxes on
the poor. The Telegraph in London stated, "Boris
Johnson raised taxes to their highest level since
the Second World War on Tuesday, in a £36 million
move to reduce soaring NHS waiting lists and tackle
the social care crisis."

This is a terrible decision during
an economic downturn. Johnson is doing his best to
protect the rich at the expense of the poor, which
is bad leadership and poor financial management. A
5% tax increase on the rich would go a long way in
remedying some of the problems Britain is facing.
However, Johnson does not want to tax his friends
and donors. He is not acting in the best interest of
the nation as a whole, and that is dangerous.
