Botham Jean Neighbor Joshua Brown Who Testified
Against His Killer Amber Guyger Shot And KilledOctober 7. 2019
Joshua Brown
28-year-old Joshua Brown was shot to death in
Dallas, Texas this past Friday, a mere weeks after testifying
against former police officer, Amber Guyger, 30, who was convicted
of killing their neighbor, Botham Jean, 26. Many on social
networking believe the murders are connected. Brown's shooting death
occurred in a parking lot near his apartment and police currently
have no suspects.
Brown, who was in fear for his life due to the case,
nervously testified against Guyger on September 24, 2019, regarding
what he heard on the night of the shooting. Brown, a former
university football player, reported hearing two voices arguing,
then two gunshots. Authorities later confirmed Jean was indeed
killed by two bullets from Guyger's gun.

Jean, a beloved choir leader and financial analyst,
was watching television in the privacy of his living room, while
eating food, when Guyger burst into his apartment and shot him to
death, claiming she thought it was her home and he an intruder (Guyger
lived one floor beneath Jean). Guyger claimed Jean's door was
unlocked, but video posted online revealed the apartment units have
an automatic lock feature on the doors (the lock engages the second
you close the door).
Reports also indicate Guyger had made a complaint
against Jean prior to the incident. The Dallas News stated the
complaint sent an apartment manager to Jean's apartment hours before
he was shot and killed by Guyger, "It was the smell of marijuana,
and they ultimately determined it wasn't coming from Jean's home,
attorney Lee Merritt said."
Botham Jean
After his murder, police searched Jean's apartment
and found a small quantity of marijuana (which we do not know
whether it was planted or his marijuana). Nonetheless, there are a
number of marijuana users in America. For some to have used this
angle in an effort to smear Jean was disgraceful. A person doesn't
deserve to be shot and killed for having a small amount of marijuana
in their home nor does it justify the killing.
If anyone seeks to question his character for having
a small amount of weed, classified as personal use (not for sale),
Guyger's character should be called into question as well. She is a
massive racist who made awful death jokes about the late
African-American civil rights hero Martin Luther King Jr. Guyger was
also conducting an affair with a married co-worker. The two were
sexting each other in the moments before she recklessly murdered
Jean.
Amber Guyger
Guyger was convicted on murder charges and sentenced
to 10-years in prison. She is filing an appeal in the case. However,
if you ask me, she deserves at least 20-years in prison, as the
shooting does not come across as a genuine accident. I am of the
belief this was no accidental shooting. My instincts lead me to
believe Guyger had a grudge against Jean, after propositioning him
on a previous occasion and it not turning out how she planned.
Guyger is withholding key facts in the case and she
deserved to lose her badge for what she has done. After all, Brown
stated he heard two people arguing. However, Guyger's account of
what happened made it sound like very few words were exchanged. She
is hiding the truth.

08:40 EDT, 6 October 2019 - A neighbor of Botham Jean who was a key
witness in the murder trial of Amber Guyger has been shot dead in
Dallas. Joshua Brown, 28, was gunned down outside an apartment
complex in the city's Medical District around 10.30 pm on Friday. He
was rushed to nearby Parkland Memorial Hospital, where he died from
his injuries. Witnesses say they heard several gunshots and saw a
silver sedan speeding out of the apartment complex's parking lot
shortly after.
Police have not apprehended or publicly identified a
suspect in the fatal shooting, according to Dallas Morning News.
It's also unclear whether Brown's death was in any way connected to
the Guyger's murder trial. Brown was a neighbor of both Jean and
Guyger, and his shocking slaying comes just 10 days after he broke
down on the witness stand as he recounted the night Jean was fatally
shot by Guyger. Last Tuesday, Guyger was found guilty of murder, and
was subsequently sentenced to 10 years in prison...
