Beyonce's new song "Break My Soul" is lagging behind
her rivals such as labelmate, Adele. "Break My Soul"
streamed 5 million times on music streaming sites in
its first full day of release this week. However,
last year Adele debuted with 64,000,000 streams on
the first day of her lead single "Go Easy On Me."
Taylor Swift's "Red" album had 90 million streams on
the first day of release.

The song received negative reviews
on social networking. Beyonce's BeyHive fanbase also
engaged in their standard behavior of publicly
telling each other to stream her music continuously
throughout the day. Therefore, it's not even 5
million people listening to the song in one day.
It's significantly less when a few hundred people
are listening to a song dozens of times for the day
in trying to manipulate the music charts results.
