The Arrogance That Is Paris Hilton May 9. 2007
The following caption ran under the above posted pic in People magazine yesterday: HER OWN COURSE - "Paris Hilton driving again? The heiress, who was recently sentenced to 45 days in jail for violating her probation by driving with a suspended license, is spotted behind the wheel of her Bentley Tuesday in Century City, Calif."
Right, you've been sentenced to 45 days in jail, out of kindness the judge did not impound your car...and how do you thank him, by arrogantly getting behind the wheel, hand on stick. Why are you operating a vehicle on a suspended license...again. Your finger clearly pressed the button and your looking behind you, as one does when operating a vehicle. And has the gall to ask for a pardon. You aren't showing any contrition. What you are showing is arrogance. It gives the impression you're thumbing your nose at the law.
Paris even started a petition via MySpace, asking Governor Schwarzenegger to pardon her, so that she does not have to go to jail. Ironically, yesterday, blogs started petitions demanding that she be required to go to jail, as any other citizen would be forced to after being convicted. Yea, that I'd sign. Speaking of the anti-Paris movement, Gallery of the Absurd, took another pot shot at her today with their newest pic, replete with herpes warts. |
