Anti-ACORN Bloggers Violated Wiretap Laws

During an unofficial sting, conducted by two bloggers, who clearly did not read the U.S. Code, in looking for a scoop, they attempted to expose misconduct by ACORN and became entangled in legal trouble. National wiretap laws were violated, when the bloggers tried to secretly record and videotape ACORN employees in wrongdoing and it has placed the two entrappers in hot water with the government. This clandestine, unlawful operation, was not the best course of action, as illegal wiretapping is a felony in America.
