Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Nominated For Golden Globes

Hollywood's top couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, have been nominated for respective Golden Globe awards. Angelina for her film "The Changeling" and Pitt for his flick "The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button."

In other news, Brad Pitt's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston is dating musician John Mayer. Papers are speculating she needed someone to be on her arm for a premiere and thus they reunited. Basically, the press won't give her a break, categorizing her life in the most unflattering terms.

But I have to admit, Aniston doing films with titles such as "He's Just Not That Into You" isn't helping the situation. It's inviting the jokes. They keep referring to her as lonely for that reason.

Is John Mayer Jennifer Aniston's backup man plan?

According to the New York Post, during their split, Aniston’s camp was shopping for a potential date because poor Jen “did not want to be single when her movie opened.” Johnmayer Especially since her film premiere coincided with the PR push and premiere of Brad Pitt’s new movie, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” at which he had Angelina Jolie by his side.

"A friend of her agent was calling around asking for young men whom they could set her up with," a source told the N.Y. Post. But the attempt to find a replacement for Mayer failed and -- as if by magic -- Mayer and Aniston got back together.
