26-Year-Old Female Teacher Had Sex With 14-Year-Old Boy And Bought Him Drugs

26-year-old married Florida school teacher, Stephanie Peterson (Ferri), was arrested by police over having sex with a 14-year-old minor and buying him illegal drugs. Peterson had sex with the teen, sent him nude photos over the internet and taught him how to smoke marijuana she purchased and gave to him.

Peterson told the 14-year-old he must not tell his parents about the things they did, but the boy broke down and did the exact opposite. Authorities in New Smyrna, Florida were alerted to Peterson's illegal behavior when the boy's parents filed a police complaint, after the distressed, underage teen confided in them about the unlawful conduct his teacher roped him into, which caused his school grades to suffer.

Peterson has been arrested on charges of "lewd or lascivious battery" and "one count of transmitting harmful materials to a child." She was booked into a local Volusia County jail and resigned from her job. She has indeed contributed to the delinquency of a minor and should be held accountable in a court of law.

Most teachers do not engage in inappropriate and unlawful conduct with students, but instead devote their time to ensuring your kids get the best education possible. However, there has been a noticeable up-tick in the number of teachers, both male and female, arrested for having sex with students.

The teachers engaging in said misconduct need to stop and face the fact they are no longer teens. Some teachers, especially those in their twenties, are mentally stuck in adolescence and wrongly think such inappropriate relationships with teens is acceptable. You are no longer teens. You are grown men and women. There must be boundaries between teachers and students.

Stephanie Peterson, 26, was arrested in Wednesday morning in New Smyrna, Florida after the boy allegedly confided in his parents.

The 8th grader told them that Peterson, whose married name is Ferri, picked him up occasionally from their home at 11pm and often spent hours with him in private afterwards. He also said that she sent him nude photographs of herself and that she had bought him marijuana and a 'bowl to smoke it'.
