15-Year-Old Girl Walking Her Dog In Texas Shot 22 Times (Video)

15-year-old girl, Diamond Alvarez, did what she always would in walking her dog in her southwest Houston neighborhood in Texas. On Wednesday, Alvarez took her dog for their usual nightly walk in a field near their home. It was the last walk they would take together.

Neighbors reported hearing shots fired. Alvarez was found dead in a field. Alvarez's body was riddled with 22 bullets, which authorities believe were fired from a dark colored sedan in a drive-by shooting.

Alvarez's family knew something was wrong when her dog came back to the house repeatedly barking at them, as the canine tried to alert them to what had occurred in the deadly shooting. Police are asking anyone with information to please come forward. My condolences to Diamond's family.
