12 Gang Members Indicted In New York In The Appalling Murder Of 15-Year-Old Lesandro Guzman-Feliz

12 gang members have been indicted in New York in the heinous murder of 15-year-old Lesandro Guzman-Feliz, nicknamed Junior, who was stabbed to death in a case of mistaken identity on June 20, 2018. The crime shocked and appalled social networking, who demanded "Justice for Junior." As the case spread, it was covered in newspapers and on news channels around the world.

The "Los Sures" set of the Trinitarios street gang are accused of plotting murder at the home of leader Diego Suero. The plan was to attack rival Trinitarios members in the "Sunset" set of the gang. They spotted Lesandro on the streets in the Bronx section of New York and mistook him for someone else. Lesandro was stabbed and hacked to death with knives and a machete.

The 12 men who have been arrested and indicted in Lesandro's murder are Jose 'Canelito' Muniz, Elvin Garcia, Jose Taverez, Manuel Rivera, Danel Fernandez, Joniki Martinez, Santiago Rodriguez, Kevin Alvarez, Luis A. Cabrarasantos, Danilo Payamps Pacheco, Gabriel Ramirez Concepcion and Diego Suero.

If convicted they face life in prison without the possibility of parole and it is richly deserved. They robbed a 15-year-old boy of his life and in brutal, painful fashion. They have also left his family devastated. A price must be paid for those crimes against Lesandro and the suffering it has brought his bereaved family.
