Theresa May And David Cameron
Could Lose The Empire
December 28. 2018
Theresa May
Theresa May continues to push for Brexit, which is
Britain's pending departure from the European Union, via conduct
that could full well bringing about the end of the British Empire as
we know it, causing the United Kingdom to break up into independent
nations.
In 2014, Scotland held a referendum on independence
from Britain. The vote went through to remain in the United Kingdom.
2,001,926 voted to remain and 1,617,989 to leave. As such, Scotland
remained a part of Britain. In 2016, former British Prime Minister
David Cameron unwisely tabled the Brexit vote, regarding whether
Britain should leave or remain in the European Union. 17,410,742
voted to leave the European Union and 16,141,241 to remain.
Though the vote is non-binding, Cameron’s successor,
Theresa May, has unwisely abided by it in an alarming way, despite
the fact it is greatly damaging Britain in just about every way you
can conceive. Brexit has unleashed a world of chaos, financial loss
and division. It is eroding Britain’s wealth and social standing in
the world.
During the Brexit referendum, Scotland voted to
remain in the EU. However, votes from England tipped the scales in
the balance of leaving. Scotland and its local government are very
upset by Brexit and threatening a second independence referendum.
The next referendum as a significantly greater chance of passing,
rending Scotland an independent nation.
Theresa May and some of her fellow Tory party
members are not helping matters. May has been dismissive of the
Scottish governments serious complaints regarding their opposition
to Brexit, while select Tory MPs told a Scottish MP to “go home” and
“go back to Scotland” (a xenophobic slur) during a recent
parliamentary hearing in London. It made the news. This insulting
conduct from select Tories is going to prove politically costly.
Britain voted to leave the EU and on a lie, as
propagated by politicians such as Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage.
The British people were told the £19,000,000 per month they give to
the EU as membership dues, would be spent on Britain in places such
as the NHS. However, May keeps making massive cuts to social
services and benefits.
The only people who received a raise from her was
the royal family, which also caused offense in Britain, as seen on
social networking. Brits complained social services and benefits to
the disadvantaged have been cut to the point of poverty, yet the
wealth royal family received tens of millions of pounds in a raise.
What the Leave campaign didn’t tell the public is
Britain gets far more out of the EU than the nation puts in via
membership dues. Britain receives man billions more per month in
economic revenues from EU trade and money being invested in the
United Kingdom. The British people were told the EU is taking
advantage of them. However, they weren’t told of the billions in
revenue and trillions in wealth the EU has brought Britain. The
whole thing was a vicious lie and is and will further cost Britain a
fortune, deteriorating the nation’s wealth and way of life.
Scotland is now seeking a second independence
referendum, with the target of leaving the United Kingdom, becoming
an independent nation and joining the EU as such. It would open the
floodgates regarding the start of the British Empire breaking up.
Northern Ireland and Wales could very well follow suit in leaving.
Then it will just be England and no longer Britain/the United
Kingdom. I don’t want that to happen, but it’s not my choice to
make.
Cameron and May will not only go down in world
history as the architects of the financially damaging Brexit, but if
they are not careful, they will also be consigned to a dark place in
world history as the ones who lost the empire (UK splitting up).
That’s a terrible and humiliating thing to have attached to one’s
name in world history.
The Queen
Not to mention, the Queen will kill them for it
(LOL). There’s some public misconceptions about the Queen. She isn’t
some weak, feeble little old lady who couldn’t harm a fly. Elizabeth
will go gangster on them (LOL). She will go Dr. Evil on them (LOL).
They will go to take a bath one day and bam, sharks in their
bathtubs courtesy of one of the Queen’s bodyguards (LOL). Seriously
though, I’m not kidding, if the empire breaks up, make no mistake,
the Queen will ruin Cameron and May for it. She would make them pay
for that.
As stated previously on the site, I am of the belief
the United Kingdom is better off together. It is my hope Scotland,
Northern Ireland and Wales will remain a part of Britain, along with
England. However, that choice is not mine.
Things are being exacerbated by May’s obstinate
behavior regarding Brexit. Britain has already lost billions over
Brexit. Banks, trade organizations and other businesses have already
announced they will pull huge sums out of Britain in cash and
investments, which combined represents roughly £2 trillion pounds.
That would be just the beginning. Long-term trillions more would be
lost.
May’s poor negotiating skills has cost Britain its
place in the prestigious European Space Agency (ESA). This is not a
good development. It is going to cost Britain billions of pounds and
years of groundwork to launch their own space agency and with the
cuts May is making, it’s not going to be a priority. Britain has
also lost its place in the vital European Medicines Agency (EMA).
Due to issues related to Brexit, the British government is now
stocking piling medicine and food, like rations during wartime.
Over 10,000 medical professionals have left Britain
and returned to the EU, due to Brexit. May has also been blocking
visas for foreign doctors and nurses. This has created significant
labor shortages in the NHS and tens of thousands of Britons have
died this year due to said problem and May’s massive benefits cuts.
If May is not careful, pestilence will breakout in Britain.
Leaving the EU also means the cost of food in
Britain will go up, when it was so affordable. Real estate values
are set to go down by 35% once Brexit is completed in March 2019
(the decline in property value has already begun, as many homes have
lost 10%-15% in value).
The food industry has been warning for the past
2-years that they will be unable to fill vital posts due to Brexit.
An executive for the Pret A Manger restaurant chain has stated many
Britons do not apply for jobs in the restaurant industry and
expressed there will be labor shortages once Brexit goes through.
Pret A Manger, which makes delicious food, has revealed just, "One
in 50 job applicants is British" (the Guardian newspaper). This can
also be said of other restaurant chains in Britain. How will these
labor issues also effect the supermarket business.
Many British high street shops are closing and some
are on the verge of insolvency. The problem is due to the fact May’s
benefits cuts means Britons have less disposable income. Many EU
citizens have also returned home, due to the xenophobic statements
of May, Johnson and Farage, coupled with the uncertainty of Brexit.
That means less consumers buying high street products. Brexit has
not been good for retail or the economy as a whole. If fact,
economists estimate the British economy will lose 3,000,000 jobs due
to Brexit. However, the good news is it’s not too late to call it
off.
May has not engaged in the type of meaningful job
creation needed to offset the losses created by Brexit. She’s made
far too many cuts which has weakened the poor and middle class.
Rival party leader, Jeremy Corbyn, is a socialist and does not
understand economics. His financial plans would bankrupt Britain,
via spending all public funds. Britain needs stable leadership, via
a man or woman who understands economics and is willing to help the
poor. It can be done.
It’s not a complex problem. As stated previously on
the site, a tax increase on the (upper) middle class rich of 5%
could have paid for many social services. A dedicated 5-25 pence
sales tax on purchases in Britain could have properly funded the NHS.
Instead May has given the rich big tax breaks and
the royal family a big raise, while the poor suffer. This was not
the correct course of action. One thing that she could do right
would be to call off Brexit, as going through with it shall set off
a terrible chain of negative financial events and split up the
country. May's government has not properly thought this through.
Not to mention, May, Johnson and Farage, among
others, have scared off some of the brightest minds in world, who
now have serious concerns about working in Britain, due to improper
deportations and the xenophobia they see pouring out of her
government and from far-right politicians like Farage. Britain has
not had this type of image in modern times.
When people thought about Britain, they thought
about the Union Jack, beautiful palaces, good manners, Shakespeare
and legendary musicians like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Now
the world is seeing May, Johnson and Farage, among other
politicians, telling everyone who isn't white British to get out and
stay out (even if it topples the economy). Ask yourselves, how did
you as politicians end up at this place and will future generations
thank you for destroying the country with your hate, xenophobia,
prejudices and poor economic planning.
Once again,
I've been correct in many things I have stated regarding
Britain and would not try to steer people wrong:
