Two-weeks ago, singer Mariah Carey came forward stating she is suffering from bipolar disorder. People wondered why she suddenly chose to speak about her mental health, which began to deteriorate many years ago. However, with recent revelations hitting the press, it became clear Carey was trying to beat her former manager, Stella Bulochnikov, to the punch. It wasn't exactly news, as the Judiciary Report stated for years that Carey is mentally ill (Mariah Carey To Be Sued By Her Former Manager For Sexual Harassment And Non-Payment Of Salary).

Stella Bulochnikov and Mariah Carey, whom she states sexually harassed her via nudity. However, as pointed out by others online, why are Bulochnikov's hands always on Carey. This is one of many pictures that illustrate Bulochnikov's hands are always on Carey.

Bulochnikov stated Carey told her children's nanny to get them ready as deceased singers Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston are coming over for dinner. Alarmed at what she witnessed, Bulochnikov telephoned Carey's estranged husband, Nick Cannon (the two have since divorced) informing him of Mariah's strange behavior. Cannon telephoned Carey's doctor, who stated she needed to be taken to the hospital immediately. Bulochnikov drove Carey to the hospital, to receive treatment for a psychotic break. Carey is quite mentally ill and her condition is being controlled with medicine.

It is clear Bulochnikov knows many of Carey's secrets and unethically tried to force a multi-million dollar payout from the singer, in exchange for her silence. However, it failed. Hence all the leaks from Bulochnikov. I'm being objective in stating this, Bulochnikov was not a good manager. She was not a manager to begin with, which was the first problem. Carey should not have hired a person with no managerial experience.

Carey also should have made Bulochnikov (or anyone else in that situation) sign a confidentiality agreement, especially after she moved into her home. Bulochnikov's stint as Carey's manager did harm to the singer's career. Carey is not an easy recording artist to manage, as sometimes she wants things that are not good for her career. Furthermore, a manager can't take every deal that floats across their desk, as some are career killers.
